Noah Gonzales was chosen as this week’s Raider of the Week at Rice Consolidated High School. The Raider of the Week chosen by the Administration department is Noah Gonzales. His mother is Gina Valdez. Gonzales is in the 12th grade. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Schendel because she taught him debate for two years. While in high school, Gonzales participated in the student council, NHS, FCA, baseball and tennis. He also helps with math and reading in our life skills room. Outside of school Noah loves to play pickleball, umpire for Rice Youth Sports League Baseball and softball and work at Dairy Queen. After graduation Noah plans on attending Stephen F. Austin State University where he will study nursing and hopefully become a Pediatric med surg nurse. Courtesy photo
