CHS One Act Play advances to Area from Bi-District

COLUMBUS — The Columbus High School One Act Play advanced to Area after competing at the Bi-District contest in Edna last Thursday.

The students performed Blue Stockings by Jessica Swale, directed by Lorrie Walla.

The tech crew received Best Crew for the second time. Kelci Weidemann also received an All-Star Crew medal again for her expertise in lighting design.

Adam Baker, McKinsey Sizemore and Carrie Fuller all received All-Star Cast awards for their roles in the play.

The Area contest will be held Saturday, April 1 at Highlands High School in San Antonio.
