The Columbus Country Market hosted its first market of the year on Saturday, March 29 and central to this event was a tribute to Billy Kahn.
As many will know, Khan had been a pillar of this event for many years and the Columbus Country Market counted on him to man the information booth, make announcements over the PA system and help vendors coming and going.
A small table displayed memories of Khan; his first Farmers’ Market apron, a jaunty hat and of course, mismatched socks. Adding a special note was the hand carved “portrait” of Billy, created from the heart and the skill of Dan Pore.
