The Weimar Wildcats baseball team has played nine games this season where they won three of them, lost five and tied one of them.
The Wildcats are currently on a three-game skid as well which pushes them further back from being a .500 ball club.
Being .500 simply means that a team has the exact same number of wins as they have losses. Teams typically want to be above .500, because they are winning more games than losing.
This team is fully capable of turning things around and it is still early enough in the season to turn things around. They just have to do it.
It’s not going to be easy either, but these Wildcats are up for a challenge, they want to prove to people that their sports program is strong a ready to compete with the best out there.
With three wins and five losses, three of which came recently during this rut the Wildcats are in. They will be looking for a way to get back in the win column and back in the hunt for a playoff spot.
Another reason why this team is fully capable of turning things around is because players like Camden Morrsion, Huxton Kloesel, Drew Montgomery and Trey Billeck have all stepped up in major ways.
Pitching wise, Kloesel and Montgomery currently lead the team in strikeouts with 14 and 10 respectively. Batting wise Morrison leads the team with a .467 average and has a double and two RBIs to his name.
Behind Morrison is Billeck who has a .438 average and also has double his name. Kloesel also lends his skills to offense where he has posted a .417 average and has a double and a triple already recorded this season.
The Wildcats now look ahead to their scheduled games, both of which a district games where the Wildcats will look to snatch up two huge district wins against Ganado.

Collin Morrsion throws the ball to third base trying to get the tag out.
