Six of the Weimar Wildcats were selected to be a part of the 2025 All-District team.
This comes after the Wildcats made their return to the playoffs this season and all six of these players earned their spot on the All-District team.
Leading off the All-District Honors was Zach Norrell who was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Norrell was a tenacious defender all season long for the Wildcats.
His size, speed and strength overwhelmed the opposition and recorded several steals this season. On top of that he brought secondary scoring to the lineup as well, but his defensive play was something that was noteworthy this season.
The First All-District team had two Wildcats selected and that was, Camden Morrison and Huxton Kloesel. Fans of the team know just how physically imposing these two young men are on the court.
They were also unstoppable on the offensive end of the floor; they were some big boys that could shoot from anywhere on the court. But they were also strong enough to get inside the paint and win the rebound battle for the Wildcats this season.
Guards Collin Morrison and Jerron Fisher was selected to the Second All-District team. These two used their speed to their advantage, most games they were some of the smallest players on the court, but they were too fast and smart to be stopped.
Collin Morrison and Fisher used their speed to stretch out a defense and open lanes for their teammates to take advantage of for easy points. They were also excellent shooters for the Wildcats, they both shot a high percentage from three-point range which was a big help in getting the Wildcats back to the playoffs.
Last but certainly not least was Sammy Hernandez who was named an Honorable Mention for the All-District team. His teammates value him more than just an Honorable Mention though.
Hernandez was a great glue guy for this team he may not have logged big minutes but when he got in the game, he was effective. When he was not in the game, he was keeping things positive on the bench and making sure his teammates stayed engaged and focused on winning.
Congratulations to the Wildcats and a great season and to the players who were selected to the All-District team.

Camden Morrsion was named to the First All-District team for the 2025 season.
