JAN. 17, 2025

At 2:40 pm Lt. Lara responded to the 400 block of Preston St in reference to possible harassment. Information was received.

At 4:48 pm Ofc. Avalos along with Lt. Lara responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 5:38 pm Ofc. Avalos along with Lt. Lara responded to the 2200 block of Walnut in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 9:25 pm Lt. Lara responded to the 200 block of May St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

JAN. 18, 2025

At 9:02 am Sgt. Blair responded to the 500 block of Spring St in reference to an escort.

JAN. 19, 2025

At 3:37 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Rampart St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 9:12 am Sgt. Blair responded to the 1400 block of Fannin St in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 6:21 pm Ofc. Pospisil along with Det. Mayfield responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 11:46 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Rampart St in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

JAN. 20, 2025

At 9:52 am Ofc. Pospisil along with Sgt. Blair responded to the 1000 block of Front St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was not located.

At 10:12 am Ofc. Pospisil along with Sgt. Blair responded to the 1000 block of Rampart St in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and all was found to be in order.

At 2:01 pm Ofc. Pospisil along with Sgt. Blair responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to an escort.

At 2:40 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 10:40 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1600 block of Fannin St in reference to possible threats. Information was received.

JAN. 21, 2025

At 12:22 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and removed from the property.

At 8:50 am Ofc. Pospisil along with Sgt. Blair responded to the 1900 block of Milam St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, the subject was found deceased. Justice of the Peace four, Stan Warfield arrived on scene and stated the time of death and determined cause of death was natural causes.

At 6:33 pm Lt. Lara responded to the 1100 block of Walnut in reference to an unwanted person. After further investigation, Richard Mancha of Columbus was arrested for Criminal Trespass and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

JAN. 22, 2025

At 12:18 am Ofc. Salians responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 10:35 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 6:22 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

JAN. 23, 2025

At 7:50 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 11:20 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2200 block of Walnut in reference to counterfeit checks. Information was received.

At 3:55 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 700 block of Rampart St in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and all was found to be in order.

At 4:00 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1000 block of Walnut in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 7:05 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 100 block of Shult Dr in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and removed from the property.
