COLORADO COUNTY SWCD
The Colorado County Soil and Water Conservation District #333 will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to one Colorado County student, with the application deadline set for Wednesday, March 20.
$500 will be awarded for each of the two semesters of the winner’s first year of college or vocational school.
The student must show proof of registration at their college or vocational school, according to a press release sent by the Colorado County SWCD.
A check will be issued to the scholarship applicant once all associating information has been confirmed by the SWCD.
All graduating students and home school seniors of Colorado County are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The student must be a resident of Colorado County.
“The Colorado County Soil and Water Conservation District #333 hopes to continue awarding this scholarship to a deserving senior each year,” said Patrick Pavlu, Chairman of the SWCD. “We hope you will encourage your students to apply.”
