The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild hosted their annual “Best Little Quilt Show in Texas” Friday, Feb. 21 and Saturday, Feb. 22.
The event, themed “An Amazing Tropical Paradise,” marked the 27th edition of the competition, highlighting the many talented quilters who have taken up their “betweens.”
The show took place at the La Grange Community Center in La Grange, with attendees paying a $10 entrance fee to come inside and see the various beautiful quilts on display.
Attendees could also purchase tickets for $1 each or 6 tickets for $5 for a chance at winning a beautiful quilt.
Amongst the winners of some of the categories was Columbus resident Sharon Haechten with Outstanding Contemporary – Artisan, for her quilt “My Kaffe.”
