As February is coming to a close, that could only mean one thing to Columbus FFA members: the show and sale is right around the corner! FFA members who have worked hard to prepare their animal, horticulture, and construction projects are eagerly awaiting a fun and prosperous show and sale. FFA members have contributed many hours into their projects; from feeding every day, to long hours in the shop, all of which are no simple tasks. This is the weekend where these long hours and hard work pay off!
On behalf of the entire Columbus FFA chapter, I’d like to cordially invite you to the 2025 Columbus FFA Show and Sale. We will kick the weekend off with the show on Friday, February 28 at 9 am, beginning with the hog show, followed by other species and divisions. On Saturday, the annual FFA parade will begin at 10 AM around Columbus. A barbecue meal catered by Mikeska’s will follow at 11 AM in the Columbus High School cafeteria. If you’d like to purchase meal tickets, they are being sold by exhibitors or contact the Ag department at the high school at 979-732-5746.
Finally, the sale of champions will begin at 1 pm. As a member and exhibitor of this organization, I’d like to show my appreciation to all who make this show and sale possible: our ag teachers, the FFA alumni, and family and community members.
