The Bernardo Volunteer Fire Department held their annual election for the 2025 calendar year last Tuesday evening, Feb. 18.
The following positions were filled below:
• Fire Department Chief - Eric Weyand.
• 1st Assistant Chief Ben Munsch.
• 2nd Assistant Chief Bradley Berger.
• Bernardo Volunteer Fire Department Board positions were filled as well by the following members:
• BVFD Board President - Kim Menke.
• BVFD Board Vice President - Trent Uhlig.
• BVFD Board Secretary/ Treasurer - Kristi Weyand.
• BVFD Board Assistant Secretary/ Treasurer - Amber McCarthy.
• Sargent at Arms Keith Neuendorff.
• Chaplain - Randy Wendt.
The annual BVFD Chicken Fried Steak Dinner will be taking place on Sunday, March 30.
