Give your child a Christian education at the Christian Covenant Academy

The Christian Covenant Academy offers an affordable private, Christian education from kindergarten through twelfth grade.

The CCA is a non-denominational and serves children whose families agree to the Bible as God’s word and attend a Bible based church. The CCA is located in the heart of Weimar but serves families across Fayette County and Colorado County. All teachers are certified and vetted including an extensive background check.

The school’s curriculum supports students in establishing a biblical worldview, preparing students for academic success and a lifelong commitment to the faith through study of the word, advanced academics, discourse, apologetics, debate, and mastery learning under the umbrella of Biblical truths and the TEKS.

The CCA partners with Houghton University for dual credit courses and engages the best instructional methods for teaching and learning for rigorous, purposeful Christ centered lessons.

Elementary students engage with the fundamentals of learning including a balanced literacy program incorporating both phonics and whole language instruction. Students have the opportunity to engage with a variety of texts both Christian and secular to form a well rounded perspective of the world as they begin constructing a world view reflective of Biblical truth.

Students begin apologetics in 6th grade and learn critical skills for owning and defending their faith before graduation from high school. The curriculum is uniquely constructed to connect all learning to the biblical truths about God, identity in Christ, tenets of the Christian faith, and academic excellence and integrity through a variety of learning pathways utilizing both Christian and secular texts providing a well rounded perspective of truth while evaluating secular scholastics and philosophies.

Uniquely, high school students have the opportunity to choose electives that provide real world applications, service-learning opportunities, work integration and college and career readiness. Discovering a Kingdom purpose and individual strengths are critical aspects of the program designed to support seniors in choosing their next steps wisely whether heading to university, trade school, military or the workforce. What is their unique calling? We work to help each student unpack that question and explore God’s word to discover their giftings and purpose.

CCA is a member of The Association of Christian Schools International and is actively pursuing accreditation in this pioneer year. CCA expects to be accredited by summer 2025.
