Last Saturday, Feb. 8, Saints basketball B teams wrapped up their final tournament at Immanuel Lutheran in Giddings. The boys’ team came home as winners of the silver bracket. Saints ended their season at Trinity in Victoria last Thursday. Next up track season.
This evening, the SAS One Act Play cast will perform for the public in the cafeteria at 7 p.m. This year’s play is “Disorder in the Court,” by Brianna Dehn. This funny, farcical court case has an outrageous triple crime, a hapless defense attorney, and a parade of self-promoted, gossiping witnesses.
Tomorrow morning, the cast will perform for the school. The cast and crew will head to Austin on Friday to prep for their One Act Competition this Saturday, Feb. 15.
Tomorrow, Feb. 13, some 5th to 8th grade Saints will participate in the Sacred Heart Academic Meet in Hallettsville. This meeting serves as a good practice run for the PSIA Academic Meet that will be held in Giddings on Feb. 21.
Registration Dates have been set for the 2025-2026 school year. Registration for current SAS families will open on Feb. 18. Families that are members of St. Anthony, St. Roch, or St. Peter and St. Paul parishes may register beginning on March 17. Public registration opens on March 31.
