The Columbus Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Member Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 30 at the Stafford Opera House Grand Hall, bringing together 140 local business leaders, community members, and city officials for an evening of celebration, recognition, and a look ahead to 2025.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Annual Awards given to the following: Business of the Year: The Dewberry Cafe Volunteer of the Year: Morgan Barten Citizen of the Year: Mayor Lori An Gobert Guests enjoyed a delicious meal catered by John John’s 2 Go with live music provided by Kelsi Macheck. Columbus Mayor Lori An Gobert and Colorado County Judge Ty Prause additionally gave remarks at the event.
With 447 active members and 65 new members in 2024, the Chamber saw tremendous growth. Over the past year, the Chamber hosted 18 ribbon-cutting ceremonies, welcomed over 6,000 attendees to the Magnolia Days Festival, guided 175+ guests on historic bus tours and celebrated 1,600+ visitors at the Santa Claus Museum.
As the Chamber looks ahead to 2025, they remain committed to bringing value to our members as we foster economic growth.
