The Eagle Lake Noon Lions Club hosted special guest speakers to inform club members about the Colorado County Crime Stoppers organization at their recent meeting last Thursday, Jan 30.

Nancy Gorman, a Deputy for Colorado County Sheriff’s Office and Heidi May, President of Colorado County Crime Stoppers spoke to the Lions Club about Colorado County Crime Stoppers.

The initiative is a community- based program that was formed in the 1980s by concerned citizens and law enforcement to provide residents with a vehicle to anonymously relay tips and information that might help solve crimes and lead to the arrest and conviction of criminals.

We all strive to keep our communities safe. If you have a tip about a crime, you don’t need to leave your name. Please don’t hesitate to anonymously report it by phone: 866-522-8477 or text: TIP4CASH to CRIMES (274637).
