Rock Island Full Gospel Church to host annual camp meeting
From Monday, Feb. 3 through Feb. 8 |11 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. |Rock Island Guest ministers, singers and missionaries coming from seven different states as well as from Mexico and Kenya. Visitors will stay in local homes, campers, motels and Splashway cabins. Meals will be served. Everyone is welcome to attend any or all services.

Saturday, Feb. 15 | 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. | Columbus, Weimar and Hallettsville 73rd anniversary for the Haris County Sheriff’s Office Jr. Mounted Posse. The rides begin at 9:30 a.m. in Columbus at the Colorado County Courthouse. The rides will continue at 11:30 a.m. at Weimar City Hall and 3:30 p.m. at the Hallettsville Lavaca County Courthouse.
