Sally Reynolds is coming to Weimar, hosted by Friends of the Weimar Public Library.
Reynolds, a writer, speaker, and curator of fine arts, has added children’s author to her extensive list of accomplishments, and On Friday, Feb. 7 at 10:00 a.m. and will showcase her new book “Tid and Tad: A Tale of True Friendship.”
Reynolds’ presentation will focus on the writing of children’s stories based on “the child within us all,” because so many comments to her that they would love to write a children’s book. Her message is that we all could have a book in us.
Using her first ever children’s book (with a 5-star rating on Amazon) as her example, Reynolds will take the audience through her experiences in writing.
In addition, the audience will experience a book that shares positive messages about growing up and offers an upbeat perspective on life changes that will resonate with parents as well as children.
Illustrated by the vibrant watercolors of artist Mary Quiros, “Tid and Tad: A Tale of True Friendship,” is visually soothing and the story is sweet and innocent. It is a message of friendship and the journey of two friends as they make the transition of growing to adulthood.

Reynolds, from Round Rock, Texas is well known in the world of art serving as the Executive Director of the Art League of Houston and the author and principal researcher of Houston Reflections – Art in the City, 1950’s, 60’s, and 70’s. The book is recognized as an important and unique archival project documenting the visual arts of the city.
