WELLNESS COUNCIL RAISE $15K AT BEARD COMPETITION

The Wellness Council of the Greater Colorado Valley had a fantastic time at the “You Matter 4 Beard and Moustache” competition at Freyburg Hall on Saturday, Jan. 18. The competition raised $15,000 for The Wellness Council. The Wellness Council are so grateful for the continued support for the cause of mental health by Shannon Clinkenbeard, Tish Clinkenbeard and the You Matter Competitions. Their donation has played a huge role in helping the Wellness Council provide for a Mental Health Deputy over the past three years in Colorado County and for the council to draw attention to and educate people about mental health issues. The Wellness Council would also like to thank the owners of Freyburg Hall for providing such a great venue for the competition.
