At the most recent Weimar Lions meeting two new Melvin Jones Fellows were named.

This honor is awarded to those members demonstrating the highest degree of Humanitarian Service to their communities. The recipients are John Hunsicker and Mark Dannemiller.

Rev. Hunsicker has been the long-term Treasurer of the club and a trustworthy contributor to all club events. Dannemiller is the long-term club Secretary and dutifully communicates the meeting notes and board minutes. Both were delighted with the honor.

They join current members previously named Melvin Jones Fellows: DG Julius Bartek, Charles Bittner, Charles Herzik, David Kocian, Ken Kram, Dr. Bill Rugeley and Jon Wunderlich. Deceased members attaining this honor include PDG Jim Fox, Davis Gindler, PDG David Kahlich, Walter Scott and Eugene Vacek.

On hand to present the awards were District Governor Julius Bartek and Past District Governor and current District Lions Club International Foundation coordinator Charles Villeneuve from Seguin.
