Local vehicle featured in 2025 Snap-on tools calendar

WAUKESHA, WI — How does it feel to have your unique custom vehicle or creation selected to be featured in an award-winning calendar that is distributed worldwide?

Just ask Walter Weaver of Columbus. Snap-on Incorporated has announced that Weaver’s 1960 Chevrolet Impala will be featured on the cover of the 2025 Snap-on Snap-shots calendar.

The Snap-shots series of calendars was originally developed by Snap-on Tools in 1995 as a tribute to the dedicated professionalism of today’s automotive technicians and hobbyists who use Snapon products.

Since then, the calendars have annually featured the skills and loyalty of Snap-on customers by showcasing custom and classic vehicles they have built, restored, or maintain.

The Snap-shots series of calendars includes a wall calendar, and Mini Snap-shots (which features additional cars and trucks in a compact format). Custom versions of the wall calendar are also published exclusively for international markets.

The Snap-shots calendars are a unique publ ishing venture from start to finish. First, Snap-on franchisees and representatives invite customers to submit photographs of custom or classic vehicles they own. Next, Snap-on representatives gather to review hundreds of vehicle entries, and then narrow the entries down to a final select group for each of the calendar formats.

The vehicle photo, make & model, and owner information are then incorporated into a professional calendar design. Once printed and distributed, the calendars provide a daily reminder of the imagination, dedication, and pride of vehicle enthusiasts worldwide. There’s a dream vehicle somewhere for everyone!

Snap-shots calendars and 2026 official entry forms are available from your local Snap-on Tools franchisee or representative.

Look for next week’s paper to see a more indepth story, where the Citizen sat down with Weaver and talked about the history of the car, what work he put in, what it means to have his vehicle on the front cover and more.
