High school students: don’t miss your chance for a free trip to Washington, D.C.

LA GRANGE — Are you a high school student with a passion for travel, history and meeting new people? Would you like the chance to explore Washington, D.C., connect with influential leaders, and share unforgettable experiences with fellow teens from across the state?

If so, Fayette Electric Cooperative invites you to apply for the Government- in-Action Youth Tour, an all-expenses- paid trip to Washington, D.C., from June 15 to 22. This exciting opportunity is sponsored by Fayette EC and coordinated by Texas Electric Cooperatives.

The application deadline is Jan. 17, so don’t wait to secure your spot.

Youth tour offers an action-packed itinerary, including visits to Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon, the Smithsonian museums, iconic memorials, and much more. You’ll also gain insight into rural electrification, enjoy a night at the Kennedy Center, and take part in a river cruise complete with dinner and dancing. Plus, you’ll have the unique opportunity to meet U.S. representatives and other officials.
