The Weimar Ladycats had two of their players selected to the All-State team. Middle blocker Janiyah Cooper and outside hitter Chandley Tolbert were both major parts of the Ladycats’ offense and defense this season. They did well enough to get recognized by the Texas Sports Writers Association to be a part of the 2A All-State team. Above: Janiyah Cooper getting in her defensive position against Schulenburg.
