The Columbus Cardinals punched their ticket the UIL Class 3A State Championship after they defeated the Edna Cowboys Friday night.
The Cardinals won with a final score of 49-6 and had great game on both sides of the ball.
The defense racked up three turnovers which allowed the offense to score at will. Grayson Rigdon scored four touchdowns Friday night all to earn a spot in the final game of the season.
This all took place on Aleks Medrano’s birthday which made the victory so much sweeter for the Cards.
