At approximately 8:01 p.m., deputy Villanueva was dispatched to IH-10 westbound mile marker 694 in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, Timothy Valle, age 62, of Longview, Tx, was taken into custody for Obstructing Highway - Class “B” Misdemeanor, Failure to Identify - Class “C” Misdemeanor, and Terroristic Threat against a Peace Officer State Jail Felony. Case cleared by adult arrest.
THURSDAY, JULY 18 At approximately 7:34 p.m., deputy Ramirez was dispatched to the 5200 block of Main Street in Sheridan, Tx in reference to an assault. After further investigation, one subject was issued a citation for Assault by Contact - Class “C” Misdemeanor. Case was cleared by issuance of citation.
FRIDAY, JULY 19
At approximately 2:11 p.m., deputy Zwahr was dispatched to County Road 96 in Bernardo, Tx, in reference to a theft. After further investigation, information was received and a report was taken. Case active.
SUNDAY, JULY 21
At approximately 9:34 p.m., deputy Byars conducted a traffic stop on Highway 71 West and Hildebrandt Road, Columbus, Tx, on a vehicle for a traffic violation. After further investigation, Bobby Reyes, age 35, of Austin, was arrested for an out of county misdemeanor warrant. Case cleared by adult arrest.
At approximately 11:52 p.m., deputy Byars was dispatched to IH-10 near Bernardo in reference to a disturbance. After further investigation, a juvenile was processed and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Member - Class “A” Misdemeanor, Criminal Mischief >$100<$750 - Class “B” Misdemeanor, and Terroristic Threat - Class “B” Misdemeanor. Case cleared by juvenile arrest.
MONDAY, JULY 22
At approximately 2:22 p.m., deputy Thomas was dispatched to a residence on CR 150 in reference to an assault. After further investigation, Mitchell Guerrero, age 31, of Columbus, Tx, was arrested for Aggravated Assault Date/Family/ House with a Weapon - Felony 1, and two counts of Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Member - Class “A” Misdemeanor. Case cleared by adult arrest.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 24 At approximately 1:01 a.m., deputy Johnson conducted a traffic stop on IH-10 Frontage Road near Old Alleyton Road for a traffic violation. After further investigation, Andrew Garcia, age 35, of Alleyton, Tx, was arrested for an out of county Felony warrant. Case cleared by adult arrest.
At approximately 2:10 a.m., deputy Ramirez was dispatched to the 600 block of Hadden Street near Alleyton in reference to a wanted subject. After further investigation, Benjamin Castillo, age 41, of Alleyton, was arrested for a pardon and parole warrant. Case cleared by adult arrest.
SUNDAY, JULY 28
At approximately 9:08 a.m., deputy Thomas was dispatched in reference to a report of property damage located in the 1000 block of Old McDonald Road, Columbus, Tx. Information was received and a report was taken. This case is closed for information purposes only.
At approximately 4:33 p.m., deputy Ramirez was dispatched to Main Street in Garwood, Tx, in reference to a theft. After further investigation, the property was returned and the victim did not desire to prosecute. Case cleared.
At approximately 1:37 a.m., deputy Ramirez was dispatched to the 3000 block of FM 949 near Cat Spring, Tx, in reference to a vehicle crash. After further investigation, it was determined no crash occurred and the vehicle was left abandoned. Case cleared.
MONDAY, JULY 29
At approximately 1:25 p.m., deputy Weido received a report from the Colorado County Jail Administrator regarding an inmate causing damage to a window in the recreation area of the detention center. After further investigation, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Frank Gordon IV, age 35, of Conroe, Tx, for Criminal Mischief >=$2,500<$30K - State Jail Felony. Case cleared by adult arrest.
TUESDAY, JULY 30
At approximately 1:40 a.m., deputy Byars was dispatched to the 200 block of Baxter Street, Garwood, Tx, in reference to a structure fire. After further investigation, information was received and determined the fire was not intentionally started. Case information only.
At approximately 9:17 a.m., deputy Mican was dispatched to the 6700 block of US Highway 90, Sealy, Tx, in reference to credit card fraud. After further investigation, information was received and determined a fraudulent credit card was used to purchase fuel. Case pending investigation.
