Colorado County Commissioners court canvas Nov. 5 election

The Colorado County Commissioners court canvased the Nov. 5 general election last Tuesday, Nov. 19.

There were 14,841 registered voters eligible to participate in the election. Of those registered voters, 10,045 cast a ballot. 50% of voting was completed during the early voting period, with only 14% of voters showing up on election day.

The Main EV Election Center saw the highest number of voters come out, 4, 801, to a single location within the county.

Voter turnout by age varied between groups, with 49% of voter turnout coming from the 55-64 and 65-74 age groups. The third highest age group were the 18–24-year-olds, with 17% of total voter turnout.
