Columbus joined in on celebrating a new movement to highlight small businesses last Friday, Nov. 22, known as “Pink Friday,” a day designed to promote small businesses and encourage consumers to shop locally.
Pink Friday, in contrast to promotional events such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, drives business to locally owned shops and stores the week before to give small business owners a big boost.
Potter’s Western Store, a local staple in Columbus, were among the businesses in town that participated in the event.
