As the Thanksgiving holidays are upon us, SAS would like to express its gratitude for all those individuals and businesses in the community that continue to support and promote our school each year.

Saint Anthony School is truly blessed to have wonderful staff, families, and friends that give of themselves so that the light of Christ may continue shining on our students. We wish you all a very Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving.

Are you feeling lucky? SAS students are currently selling Catholic Life Insurance raffle tickets! A $5.00 ticket buys a chance at winning $20,000.00 in prepaid Visa cards.

St. Anthony School will also have a local winner drawn for a $1,000.00 prepaid Visa gift card. Tickets will be sold until January 24th, and prizes will be awarded on February 14th.

All proceeds from tickets bought via an SAS student or the office go directly to St. Anthony Catholic School.

Next week SAS Homecoming week kicks off with a black out pep rally and home basketball games on Monday, Dec. 2. On Tuesday, Dec. 3, Saints will get into the holiday spirit by wearing red and green. Wednesday is Twin Day and Thursday is PJ Day and ends the week’s festivities with a Junior High Dance at 6:30 p.m.

SAS 7th graders will visit the Alamo in San Antonio on Tuesday, Dec. 3 and 4th graders will set out on a Columbus historic home tour on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The 8th graders will head to Natural Bridge Caverns on Dec. 10. Upcoming events: 8:15 a.m. mass with the Bishop at St. Anthony Dec. 6, Sacred Heart A boys and girls basketball tourney, Dec. 6 through Dec. 7, SAS men’s cornhole tournament, Dec. 6, Immaculate Conception mass at 8:15 a.m. Dec. 9, PTC Meeting at 6 p.m. Dec. 10. SAS welcomes all to attend Children’s Mass on Fridays at 8:15.
