A fun week at Weimar Public Library

WEIMAR – The Weimar Public Library has a lineup of events for both kids and adults starting Monday, Jan. 16.

WEIMAR — The Weimar Public Library has a lineup of events for both kids and adults starting Monday, Jan. 16.

The library is kicking the week off with a PG-rated movie, “Abominable” at 3 p.m. Fresh popcorn and water will be served. The library invites you to bring a pillow and even a friend.

On Wednesday, Jan. 18, adults can attend the Library in Motion class featuring basic yoga movements and meditation at 10 a.m. The library said this class is designed to help strengthen your muscles and meditate away those bad stressors.

On Thursday, Jan. 19, the library will host Family Storytime at 10 a.m. with “Snow Day Fun” and Preschool Discovery Time at 10:30 a.m. to create a thaumatrope project.

On Friday, Jan. 20, the Friends of the Library will have a meeting at 10 a.m. The group is made up of volunteers dedicated to supporting the library. The Friends of the Library membership drive takes place this month.

The public can also stop by to pick up a book or movie. New movies at the library include “Don’t Worry Darling,” rated R, “Burial” rated R, “Woman King,” rated PG, “Clerks III,” rated R, “Ticket to Paradise,” rated PG-13, and “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile,” rated PG.
