Adds horizontal lagering tanks
Hound Song Brewing Company is excited to announce the expansion of their brewhouse with the addition of two new horizontal lagering tanks. These new tanks will boost their production capacity and enable them to craft more of their signature award-winning beers.
Lagering tanks are designed for storing lager beer for extended periods of time before the beer is ready to serve and have been used by Czech and German brewers for centuries.
The tanks will allow Hound Song to enhance their lagers’ smoothness and quality while meeting the rising demand for their brews.
“We pride ourselves on brewing high quality and characterful lager beer for our community, and these new lagering tanks will allow us to continue serving our locals, while also meeting increasing demand in more distant markets like Brenham and the greater Houston-area” said Travis Kocurek, owner and brewmaster of Hound Song Brewing Co. “We would also like to extend a huge thank you to our friends at Daley Clearing & Demolition and Starr Equipment Rentals for their help, the install went perfectly.”
Hound Song Brewing Co. invites customers to celebrate this milestone by visiting their Columbus taproom, open Tuesday through Sunday, with over 20 taps, 8,000 sq. ft. of family-friendly indoor space, and a scratch kitchen with a full menu that pairs perfectly with their beer.
