COLUMBUS GARDEN CLUB
This fun small standard Flower Show is Wednesday Nov. 6. It is presented by Columbus Garden Club and will be held at Nesbitt Memorial Library, 529 Washington Street.
It is open to the public from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. The entries will be judged by National Garden Club Accredited Flower Show Judges using the NGC Standard System of Awards for all competitive judging.
Included in the show will be a Horticultural Division. Club members will be showing some of their prized container plants and also some cut specimens.
There will also be a Design Division where entrants will show off their creative and design skills and a Botanical Arts Division that will include some “Spooky Forest” Fairy Gardens.
Columbus Garden Club has a long history of having flower shows but it wasn’t until a few years ago that the Club began having flower shows again. Many members have since become involved in Dist. IV Design Schools and even attending schools to become Flower Show Judges.
Bring a friend and have a most delightful time.
