Recently, the students of SAS got together with their Catholic Schools Week teams to do a little team bonding. “Be the kind kid” was the topic for conversation, encouraging kindness, empathy and friendship. A school wide kindness project took the shape of a huge paper chain and proved to be a fun activity for all.
Red Ribbon Week was also celebrated at SAS with theme days like, “Dreaming of a healthy future” (pajama day), and “Drugs can’t find us” (camo day). Participating in Red Ribbon Week reminds students about the importance of healthy choices and living a drug-free life.
SAS 4k and 5k marched in the downtown Pumpkin Parade hosted by local businesses, trick-or-treating for goodies galore! SAS appreciates our local businesses along with the Columbus Police Dept. for providing a fun and safe event for the kids.
