COLORADO COUNTY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY WRAPS UP SECOND SCARECROW CONTEST

The end of October also marked the end of the Colorado County Habitat for Humanity’s 2nd annual Scarecrow contest, seeing a record number of participants this year.

Colorado County businesses, non-profits, residents and more were all in participation, dressing up their scarecrows in different costumes and attires trying to secure first place for whichever respective category.

Money raised from the scarecrow contest goes towards funding Colorado County Habitat for Humanity restoration projects, as well as funding new homes to be built throughout the county for those in need.
