Daylight Saving Time is coming to an end, turning back the clock one hour at 2 a.m. this Sunday, Nov. 3. With one “extra hour” back at the helm, how are you going to spend your time?
The phrase “Daylight Saving Time” refers to saving more daylight for the day, as the winter season approaches, and the “days” get shorter and shorter.
Daylight will begin an hour later in the morning and last an hour longer in the evening, according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
This gives people the opportunity to be active outside, in the daylight, for just a little while longer as the sun goes down more quickly throughout the winter season. The concept also helps save energy.
