The Columbus Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce three new and dedicated individuals to serve on this year’s Chamber Board of Directors.
Their commitment, diverse backgrounds, and passion for the community promise to bring fresh insights and innovative approaches to our initiatives.
George Pate, Lead Technician at Sp33d Computers, will serve as this year’s Secretary. George shares, “I believe I can bring a fresh perspective to the Board while offering an experienced view of Columbus as a voice for technological growth in our community.”
LaPorchia Miller, Supervisor at Workforce Solutions, is excited to join the board. She says, “I bring direct connections from a diverse perspective, helping to bridge gaps through the relationships I’ve established in my community. I’m eager to contribute new ideas, and my innovation and ambition drive my work. I enjoy collaborating as part of a team, but I’m also ready to lead when needed.”
Anna Shultz, of Blue-Ribbon Grounds, is enthusiastic about her role on the board. “I am a dedicated member of the community who genuinely enjoys helping others in every way possible. I look forward to engaging with the community, and I have a deep commitment to stewardship. I am punctual, dependable, and hold myself to the highest ethical standards.”
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Carrie McRee, Alisha Brummet, and Melissa “Missy” Parker for their valuable contributions as members of the board. We are also pleased to announce that Peggy Harrison and Charles Potter will be returning each for a new three-year term, continuing their dedication to the Chamber’s mission. The Columbus Chamber of Commerce is committed to creating an environment favorable to businesses, jobs, and community growth and development.
