Apply now for Fayette Electric Cooperative’s 2025 Youth Tour

LA GRANGE — Imagine this: You and over 150 teens from rural Texas gather in Austin before flying to Washington, D.C., for an unforgettable week filled with adventure and inspiration. You’ll meet congressional leaders, explore national monuments and historic landmarks, tour the Smithsonian museums, enjoy a boat cruise on the Potomac River, and rally with over 1,900 other students to hear inspiring leadership speakers—all without spending a single dime.

If this sounds like an experience you can’t pass up, now’s your chance. Fayette Electric Cooperative is accepting applications for the 2025 Government- in- Action Youth Tour, happening June 15 through June 22, 2025.

The Youth Tour is a prestigious leadership program sponsored by Fayette Electric Cooperative, in collaboration with Texas Electric Cooperatives and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. For over 50 years, electric cooperatives have been sending high school students on this all-expenses-paid, action-packed journey to the nation’s capital. Every year, participants return with stories of what they describe as the trip of a lifetime.
