LOCKED UP FOR LUST?
More details have emerged about the alleged relationship between a former Colorado County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant and an inmate, revealing that the Sergeant allegedly took the inmate out of jail while on duty and into his office, to engage in “deviate sexual intercourse,” and that the two had a prior relationship.
Tomas Allen Ramirez, 50, turned himself in to authorities Oct.1 after a warrant was issued for his arrest, following an investigation into the claims of an inappropriate relationship led by Texas Ranger Cody Rogers.
According to a sworn statement provided by Rogers detailing his investigation, the female inmate, who has been held at the Colorado County Jail since Aug. 29, told Rogers in an interview that on Sept. 22, Ramirez, while on duty, escorted her to the Sergeant’s office from the jail, where the “deviate sexual intercourse” took place.
The inmate, whose name has still not been given, told Rogers that while doors were closed, Ramirez engaged in sexual intercourse with the inmate. This was allegedly the second time the two had engaged in the act while the female inmate had been in custody, with the first time occurring during her initial arrest on Aug. 29.
Ramirez and the inmate, according to her account to Rogers, also engaged in sexual intercourse twice prior to her arrest, once in Rock Island and another time in Sheridan. During that time however, the female inmate was out of custody and gave her cell phone number to Ramirez.
Rogers also stated that he viewed jail surveillance video dated on Sept. 22 showing Ramirez escorting the female inmate out at 9:49 p.m. and returning her back at 10:57 p.m., the same date the female inmate alleged her, and Ramirez, engaged in their second sexual rendezvous since she had been incarcerated.
