The Annual Reformation Fest for the Tri-County area of Lavaca, Fayette and Colorado Counties will be hosted by Faith Lutheran Church located at 615 South Eagle St. in Weimar with festivities beginning at 4 p.m.
Musical entertainment will be provided by the band Kist By Grace. A Communion service will be held where all are welcome. A sit-down German meal of sausage, potatoes, sauerkraut, other side dishes and desserts will be served. Dr. Maurice Wilkinson will be this year’s guest preacher with the Rev. Herb Beyer, Pastor of the Tri-County Cooperative Ministries, presiding at the service. All are welcome to attend.

The focus of this year’s festival is to: “Pray For Our Nation. Pray For Peace. Pray For Healing. Come Together.” We will also have the annual blessing of the hunters as part of the worship service.
With conflict that reaches across our world and within our nation, and in anticipation of an important presidential election, it is a crucial time for people to come together to pray, to seek God’s guidance, and to be lifted up by the power and presence of God who promises to be with us. In these days of worry, fear and doubt, it is time to turn to God, to trust in God.
