I-10 work starts Oct. 14

As part of the IH 10 expansion project, TxDOT will be converting the four-lane roadway to six lanes from FM 2434 to US 90 (Alleyton Road South).

Pulice Construction from Arizona was awarded the contract with a bid of $404,972,361.53. This project will add two lanes to convert the current four lane roadway to a six-lane divided highway.

This project will also convert the two-way frontage roads to one-way. The project was approved in May 2024 and construction is expected to start on Monday, Oct. 14th, with preparing the right-of-way.
