Church blessing pets for St. Francis’ Day Oct. 6

St. John’s Episcopal Church in Columbus will offer a blessing for your pets as part of their celebration of St. Francis’ Day on Sunday, Oct. 6.

Each year to celebrate St. Francis’ Day, the congregation at St. John’s Episcopal Church honors Francis’ love for all God’s creatures by blessing the furry and feathery friends who bring so much joy to our lives.

If you would like to bring your pet for a blessing, join us outside in our new memory garden in front of St. John’s, located at 915 Travis Street at 10 a.m. All are welcome.
