The Columbus Community Hospital will be holding a diabetes conference and health fair on Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Columbus Wellness Center community room on 107 Shult Drive.
The conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. and include A1C screenings, a healthy lunch, and special guest speakers.

William B. Perkison, M.D., MPH, FACOEM – Assistant Professor at the University of Texas School of Public Health – Epidemiology, Human Genetics and Environmental Sciences division Christina Little-Manley, M.S., R.D., L.D. - Dietician with 20 plus years of experience in diabetic nutrition education The conference will provide attendees with information on how to manage diabetes and prevent type 2 diabetes. Information includes diabetes management strategies, nutrition, exercise, weight management, sleep management , managing stress, living with diabetes and the best practices plus much more.
