FRIDAY, MAY 24
At approximately 2:16 p.m., deputy Melendez was dispatched to the 1000 block of Dietrich Lane in Bernardo, Tx in reference to damaged property. On arrival, He met with the complainant and obtained information to generate a report. Case information only.
At approximately 7:50 p.m., deputy Byars was dispatched to the Columbus Community Hospital in reference to an animal bite that occurred at a residence on Cardon Loop, Columbus, Tx. After further investigation, the bite victim would no longer cooperate with the investigation. Case cleared.
SATURDAY, MAY 25
At approximately 1:47 a.m., deputy Villanueva was dispatched to the 1400 block of Business 71, Columbus, Tx in reference to an assault. After further investigation, William Cazares, age 31, of Corpus Christi, Tx was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member - Class “A” Misdemeanor. Case cleared by adult arrest.
At approximately 7:15 p.m., deputy Villanueva was dispatched to the 5200 block of Main Street, Sheridan, Tx in reference to an intoxicated person. After further investigation, Christian Cervantes, age 32, of Deer Park, Tx was arrested for Public Intoxication - Class “C” Misdemeanor. Case cleared by adult arrest.
SUNDAY, MAY 26
At approximately 11:53 a.m., deputy Ohl was dispatched to the 7600 block of Highway 71 South, Garwood, Tx in reference to a burglary in progress. After further investigation, Johnny Castaneda, age 32, of Sheridan, Tx, was arrested for Burglary of Habitation Felony 2. Case cleared by adult arrest.
At approximately 6:32 p.m., deputy Melendez was dispatched to the 4000 block of Highway 90 in Alleyton, Tx in reference to an assault. After further investigation, it was determined it was mutual combat and neither party wished to pursue charges. The case is cleared.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., deputy Villanueva was dispatched to the 6700 block of Hwy 90 Sealy, Tx in reference to an intoxicated subject. After further investigation, Edgar Wences Aguirre, age 46, of Houston, Tx was arrested for Public Intoxication - Class “C” Misdemeanor. Case cleared by adult arrest.
TUESDAY, MAY 28
At approximately 3:14 a.m., deputy Blaha was dispatched to the 1000 block of Old McDonald Road Glidden, Tx in reference to a possible wanted subject. After further investigation, Lezlie Parvin, age 19, of Columbus, Tx was arrested for Public Intoxication Class “C” Misdemeanor. Case cleared by adult arrest.
At approximately 9:35 a.m., deputy Cantu was dispatched to a public service in reference to a firearm which was lost within Colorado County. After further investigation, information was received and the firearm was entered into TCIC/NCIC as lost/missing. Case inactive.
At approximately 8:47 a.m., deputy Lopez was dispatched to a residence in Garwood, Tx in reference to an individual experiencing a mental crisis. The individual was evaluated by Texana and then transported to a psychiatric facility for treatment.
At approximately 10:57 a.m., deputy Mican was contacted by a complainant in reference to her daughter being assaulted by her boyfriend in the 5200 block of Main Street in Sheridan, Tx. It was determined through the investigation that a student and public servant was assaulted by the suspect. Warrants were issued for the suspect. Case pending execution of warrants.
At approximately 2:33 p.m., deputy Cantu was dispatched to a public service in reference to the issuance of a criminal trespass warning at the 1000 block of Old McDonald Lane, Columbus, Tx. After further investigation, information was received and a report was taken. Case active.
At approximately 2:45 p.m., deputy Cantu was dispatched to the 1000 block of Mentz Road, Alleyton, Tx in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. After further investigation, it was determined the victim did not wish to pursue charges. Case cleared.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., deputy Blaha was dispatched to a residence on Baxter Street in Garwood, Tx in reference to a disturbance. After further investigation, Norma Juarez, age 37, of Garwood, Tx was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury - Family Member - Class “A” Misdemeanor. Case cleared by adult arrest.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 29
At approximately 3:13 p.m., deputy Ohl was dispatched to the 1200 block of County Road 212 Weimar, Tx regarding theft. After further investigation, information was received and a report was taken. Information only at this time.
THURSDAY, MAY 30
At approximately 2:48 p.m., deputy Ohl was dispatched to the 5800 block of Main Street Sheridan, Tx in reference to property damage. After further investigation, information was received and a report was taken. Information only.
FRIDAY, MAY 31
At approximately 1:11 p.m., deputy Johnson was dispatched to the 1000 block of Old McDonald Lane Columbus, Tx in reference to a domestic violence call. After further investigation, Michael Perez, age 36, of Columbus, Tx was arrested for Evading Arrest/Detention with Previous Conviction - State Jail Felony, and Resist Arrest, Search, or Transport - Misdemeanor “A”. Case cleared by adult arrest.
At approximately 10:26 p.m., deputy Blaha was dispatched to the 1100 Block of CR 150 Columbus, Tx in reference to a domestic dispute. After further investigation, a warrant was issued in reference to this case, and Mitchell Lee Guerrero, age 31, of Columbus, Tx was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury - Family Member - Class “A” Misdemeanor. Case cleared by adult arrest.
