From livestock shows, rodeo events, live entertainment, carnival games, food, fun and a final day parade, the three-day event was one of the most successful in its history.

The Seniors Day event on the first morning of the fair and rodeo saw one of its largest turnouts ever.

Dorothy Robb and Nora Brunner, two of the seniors in attendance, said they have been going to the event since its inception. Besides enjoying all the fair and rodeo have to offer, the two ladies beam over how much they love the senior specific event.

“We try not to miss it,” said Robb and Brunner. “We enjoy it, all the people, playing bingo, the prizes, the music the entertainment. Everything about it. We think it is a good thing they do for the seniors because it gets us out and with other people, some we may not have seen in years.”
