Rice High School Theatre Department production set for Sept. 7 and 8

Rice High School Theatre Department is excited to present to the public the new Cafe Muuurder which is based upon a fictional murder that the audience must figure out which actor did it. This short dinner play stars Easton Center, Evellynn Ellis, Damian Tavera, Kyler Cadriel, James Thompson, Aiden Nash, Gus Peacock, Edward Anderson.

Altair, Texas- Rice High School Theatre Department will be presenting Cafe Muuurder inside of the Rice High School Commons on Saturday, September 7 at 6:30 pm and Sunday, September 8 at 5:00 pm.

Rice High School Theatre Department is excited to present a new style of production that has not been practiced before in the school’s lifetime. The production, for the first time, will be taking place inside the commons and will be serving chicken fettuccine alfredo, a side of salad and breadsticks, cake as a dessert, and water and/or tea as beverages.

Not only will this be the first time the Theatre Department has performed in the commons but will also be the first time including improvised audience interactions.

Be sure to purchase tickets as soon as possible since there is a limited number of seats and tables available. A table for six will cost $100 and an individual seat will cost $20. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Tickets will be sold by Rice High School Theatre students or can be purchased by placing an order by emailing [email protected]. All sales will go towards the Rice High School Theatre Departments future productions such as Mean Girls and the One Act Play.
