Stanzel Family Foundation scholarship due April 1

SCHULENBURG – The deadline to apply for a scholarship by the Stanzel Family Foundation for the 2022-2023 school year is April 1.

The Joseph and Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship offers up to $15,000 for up to 5 years to high school seniors living within Schulenburg or Weimar, according to a release.

A spokesperson for the foundation said the scholarship is disbursed as $1,500 payments per semester as long as recipients remain eligible and can be used for tuition at any accredited university, college or trade school.
