COLORADO COUNTY FAIR 2024
Step up, youngsters. The Colorado County Fair Association welcomes the children of Colorado County to compete in the Colorado County Fair Little Ms., Little Mr., and Junior Miss pageant contests. The contests will be held at the Colorado County Fairgrounds at the Founder’s Hall on Saturday, Sept. 7, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Little Mr. and Little Miss contests are for children 5-7 years of age, and the Jr. Miss contests are for ages 8-10. Contestants must reside in Colorado County.
The contest costs $25.00 to enter and consists of an on-stage interview before a panel of out-of-county Judges. Western attire is recommended, but optional, with the score being 90% based on-stage personality and 10% based on western attire.
Winners must also be available to ride the fair float in parades and participate in representing the fair association at fair events. Parents are required to help with the fair float.
Little Miss., Little Mr., should check in at the hall no later than 5:15 p.m.; and Jr Miss contestants check in afterwards at 5:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
Sign up is at Columbus Chamber of Commerce Office, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Items needed include an entry card, a headshot photo of the child or children participating and a $25 entry fee.
The deadline to enter will be Friday, Aug. 30 by 4:00 p.m.
