Go Texan scholarship fundraiser Sept. 7

Colorado County Go Texan will be holding their annual scholarship fundraiser event on Saturday, Sept. 7.

The event will be located at St. Mary’s Nada Community Center on 1254 Old Nada Rd.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Happy Hour will be running at the bar from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with the meal served at 6:30 p.m. and a live auction following right after.

A prime rib dinner will be the meal of choice, with tickets costing $50 per person. The dinner includes prime rib with “all the fixings,” complimentary beer and wine.

Sponsorship tables may be purchased which include special amenities.

A Bronze Sponsor will pay $500 to reserve a table for eight. A Silver Sponsor will pay $750 to reserve a table for eight which includes a bottle of liquor and table signage. A Gold Sponsor will pay $1,000 to reserve a table for 10 which includes two bottles of liqour and table signage.

Over $352,000 in scholarships have been given to Colorado County agricultural students since 2011.
