Rice host back to school event

Rice Consolidated Independent School District hosted a back-to-school event at their Little League fields on Saturday, Aug. 10.

The event offered a chance for fans to see the progress of the construction on the new fields and offered plenty of fun activities for one last summer party before school starts.

There were fun jumps, inflatable obstacle courses, face painting, photo booth and tons of fun activities to close out summer break. Food was also provided and some even ran the bases on the new field to make sure they were broken in and ready to go for opening day.

Kids were smiling from ear-to-ear while enjoying the event, let’s just hope they keep that smile and excitement once school starts.
