2024 COLORADO COUNTY FAIR HOMEMAKING SCHEDULE

Wednesday, Aug. 1 – Friday, Sept. 6 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Accept entry forms and fees at Colorado County Extension Office. 316 Spring St. Columbus, 979-732-2082.

Friday, Sept. 6

8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Final day for entry forms and fees: due at Colorado County Extension Office.

Sunday, Sept. 8 – Monday, Sept. 9 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Accept entries at Colorado County Fairgrounds, Founders Hall. Colorado County Ag Complex, 1146 Crossroads Blvd. 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday accept entries at Colorado County Fairgrounds, Founders Hall. Colorado County Ag Complex, 1146 Crossroads Blvd. With the exception of perishable items, see below.

Wednesday, Sept. 11

Creative homemaking department closed to the public 7:30 a.m. – 9 :00 a.m. Accepting perishable items (pastries and more, cut flower/plant arrangements).

10:00 a.m. - Judging 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Pick up perishable items if marked on top left of tag “pick up.”

Thursday, Sept. 12

9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - senior day and student day at the fair 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Creative Homemaking Department open to public

Friday, Sept. 13

8:00 am to 11:00 p.m. Creative Homemaking Department open to public

Saturday, Sept. 14

8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Creative Homemaking Department open to public 3:00 p.m. Plus photos: Best of Show and Reserve Best of Show; Grand Champion, Reserve Grand Champion & Youth High Points. Time may be staggered by divisions.

Sunday, Sept. 15

10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All Items are to be removed from the Founders Hall. Items left after 3:00 p.m. will no longer be the responsibility of the Colorado County Fair or its affiliated partners.
