Weimar Chess Club to meet every Tuesday starting Aug. 6

The Weimar Chess Club (WCC) will meet every Tuesday from 3:45 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. at the Weimar Public Library beginning Aug. 6. The WCC is free to ages 5 – adult. David McCall is the Club sponsor. He is a retired science teacher of 15 years, elementary school counselor of 20 years and has 19 years of experience as a scholastic chess coach. He will provide free chess instructions and start each WCC meeting with a short lesson, which is followed with casual play time following International Chess Federation rules.
