Former Rice athlete is in the new College Football video game

Last fall Roger Gradney signed his letter of intent to join the Nebraska Cornhuskers football program and now finds himself in the latest edition of the College Football video game franchise.

Gradney was considered one of the top-35 safeties according to On3 Industry Ranking and one of the country’s top 15 athletes according to 247Sports.

Gradney played his senior season for the Rice Raiders where he racked up 46 tackles and 11 tackles for loss. He also contributed on offense carrying the ball six times for 108 yards and a touchdown. As a returner, Gradney returned four touchdowns in his career, and in his senior season, he returned two punts for 41 yards and six kickoffs for 138 yards.

His talents on the football field did not go unnoticed and the producers of the game saw it fit to give Gradney a 72 overall which is very impressive for an incoming freshman. Gradney and the Cornhuskers are scheduled to start their season on Saturday, Aug. 31, but fans of his can see Gradney in action in the virtual world before that if they cannot wait that long.
