Weimar golf boys place top five in La Grange

LA GRANGE –The girls and the boys on the Weimar golf team had some solid outings during their meet on Feb. 21 and Feb. 22. The boys finished with several sub-100 scores on the sheet as they played themselves to the fifth best score as a team. The girls sent just two golfers as they continue to try to improve their performances as they headed into the Weimar-hosted golf meet this week.

LA GRANGE —The girls and the boys on the Weimar golf team had some solid outings during their meet on Feb. 21 and Feb. 22. The boys finished with several sub-100 scores on the sheet as they played themselves to the fifth best score as a team. The girls sent just two golfers as they continue to try to improve their performances as they headed into the Weimar-hosted golf meet this week.

The boys were led by Hudson Ervin who had a team-low score of 93 strokes. Brady Henke was not far behind with a score of 95. Weston Pavlik was the final Wildcat to score less than 100 with a 99-stroke count on the course. Di llon Stech finished with 105 while Wyatt Lacina finished with 109 to round out the Wildcats’ day on the course.

For the gi rls, Kel ly McAfee finished with a score of 118, while Cheyenne Booker scored a 124.
